Types of Cells
Cells can be divided into two distinct types. One group, the prokaryote cells, do not have a true nucleus and lack membrane-bound structures. The second group, the eukaryote cells, have both a nucleus and membrane-bound structures. Only bacteria have prokaryotic cells. All other organisms have eukaryotic cells.

There are also differences between plant and animal cells.
Plant Cell:
- Has cell membrane and cell wall.
- Has large vacuoles.
- Contains chlorophyll.
Animal Cell:
- Has cell membrane only.
- Has small vacuoles.
- Lacks chlorophyll.
